About this event

Relax and let go off the daily stress. This guided experience will take you on a gentle discovery of nature – and yourself. Slow down, be present and let yourself relax and learn new ways to support your own physical and mental health. An easy and quiet guided walk to manage the stress and fatigue of everyday life. 

This forest bathing program is based on the Japanese practice called “Shinrin-Yoku”, forest bathing. I invite you to join me on a mindful and bodyful experience in and with nature. A simple way to slow down, relax, explore the moment through our senses in collaboration with our natural environment. On this gentle walk we explore the natural world with practices that re-connect us to all that is around us and invites us towards a journey within. We may only travel a few hundred meters in a relaxed pace, but this walk may take us beyond the stress and worries of our everyday life. A true bliss to support your mental, physical and emotional health.

We do not need to be in a wilderness forest to appreciate and enjoy the beauty and healing benefits of nature. The wonderful setting of Merian Gärten in Basel greatly supports our practice during this introduction to forest bathing.

Duration: ca. 90 min

How to dress: Sturdy shoes, comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions.

What to bring: Mat or pillow to sit on and something to drink.

Booking: Pre-booking is required latest 48 hours prior to the program. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. Further instructions will be sent via email to all participants after booking, a few days before the program.

Hi, I’m a nature and forest bathing guide, relaxation instructor, and so much more. My work draws from a rich tapestry of practices, including nature inspired routines, Yoga Nidra, embodiment coaching, sound healing, somatic experiencing, cold exposure, and mental health first aid. These tools are at the heart of what I do: helping people reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

With my unique blend of expertise and personal passion, I design experiences that are as nurturing as they are transformative. Whether you’re seeking balance, clarity, better health or just a moment to breathe, my mission is to guide you toward greater mental, emotional, and physical well-being—gently, yet powerfully.
